Sugar Beach 237

Sugar Beach 237 is a studio-type condo with a Murphy bed in the living area, one bathroom, and a fully-equipped kitchen plus a washer and dryer. The studio has a limited view of the gulf from the balcony. Located on the east side of the 2nd floor of Sugar Beach Condominiums with approximately 392 sq ft is a perfect little getaway for 2.

Sugar Beach Condominiums is located approximately 3.6 miles east of Highway 59. The property has 3 outdoor pools, a tennis court, a children's pool, a BBQ area, and a snack bar. | Limit 1 car

Review: 5 stars. Great location, convenient to Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. The condo was very clean and fully equipped with anything a small family would need for a week's stay. We took advantage of direct beach access as well as 4 pools on the property.

  This place is not a palace. The furniture and fixtures are probably from the 80s. But it was kept clean for how old it is. If you’re looking for something aesthetically pleasing and comfortable, this is not the place. If you care more about proximity to the beach and the pool, this place is 5 stars. It’s also relatively close to stores and activities. The management was responsive and helpful. Overall, for what we were looking for and our needs, we had a good stay. For what we paid, the place could have been more updated and comfortable.

  The property was clean and safe. The problem was that we could not get cell phone service in the condo. We had to run downstairs and get outside in order to use our phones.

  My wife and I stayed in this efficiency.
  It is small but was fine for us.
  It has a Murphy bed.
  There is no ice maker in the fridge but that was not a problem for us.
  The couch has built in recliners.

  Unit needs to be updated! Murphy bed was not comfortable. Only closet has a shelving unit in it with owners stuff on it (junk?) and a vacuum. Can’t hang clothes up so we removed during our stay and placed in a corner. Wires handing from tv. Tried to plug my cpap machine into outlet and sparks flew. Had to find outlet for machine. Looked behind couch and saw trim with nails behind it, wood trim also in closet behind shelving. Outlet behind couch didn’t work! Unit has 2 vacuums (1 in the closet with shelving). Owners need to move their things out and have it updated and repaired. Kitchen was fine and everything you need was there. Pools and beach were great!

  The room was exactly as it was pictured. With just my husband and I, it was the perfect fit. I was a little disappointed that there wasn't a blanket in the condo, and that I wasn't aware that we had to supply our own toilet paper after the first roll, but aside from that small stuff, it was excellent. Perfect location. So close to the beach, without having to pay an arm and a leg, but it still came with all the amenities that I would have wanted. The building itself needs some updating as far as looks, but the condo was great for us!

  Always love staying at sugar beach. Check in was super easy and unit was available way before check in time giving us almost another full day in the beach. The Unit was ok. The rug in the unit was dirty, stinky. It made the entire unit smell musty. Some places (tv, baseboards) looked as if they had never been dusted/cleaned. The bathtub had a bar of soap left from the previous person so not really sure if it was cleaned for us. The kitchen was very clean. Overall had a good stay just wish the unit would have been a little cleaner as vacation is rest time and not cleaning time.
