Westwind 201

Westwind #201 is a corner gulf-front 2 bedroom 2 bath custom decorated condominium located on the 2nd floor overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The unit is approximately 960 sq ft with views of the gulf from the living area. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen boasting custom cabinets and all stainless steel appliances set in granite countertops. There is also a washer and dryer. There are two full baths with a tub/shower combo. The street-side master has an en suite bathroom and the hall bathroom has a tub/shower combo as well. King, Queen, Sofa sleeper. Sleeps 6 | Bedding has been changed to a King in the master and Queen in 2nd bedroom.

Westwind is a 9-story building with 4 units per floor located 1 mile West of Highway 59 in Gulf Shores. Westwind has an outdoor pool and grilling area. The building has new exterior paint colors and new windows and sliding glass doors. *No winter monthly

  We had a wonderful time. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The owner needs to have the little decor, dusted. The tub around the faucet was some dirty. Overall it was a very quant condo. We would rent again. Thank you to the hostess!!

  Westwind 201 condo was great. Very clean. Steps to the beach. Beautiful view of the beach and ocean from the balcony. The condo was beautifully furnished and has everything you need. The master bedroom was notably warmer then the rest of the condo and garbage pick up noise would wake us every morning but those are the only negatives.

  We found the condo just as presented in the Vrbo listing. We were there for six days with our daughter and son in law. Being on the second floor and a corner unit provided us with a great view of the ocean and privacy. Very nice stay!

  Westwind unit 201 is a beautiful condo in a great area on the beach.
  Even though it was February we were able to spend time on the beach and enjoy the ocean and relax. Private access to the beach is really nice. The unit was really clean and functional.
  The beds were very comfortable. The only issue we had was that no beach chairs or umbrella were provided and the rental services do not start their set up service until March 1 (we were there in February). We ended up purchasing chairs and an umbrella. Luckily we drove into town so we were able to take the home. The location is within walking distance of many great shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed this vacation and the owners of this unit do a great job with giving it a beachy feeling.

  The condo unit was clean, had great views of the Gulf and you could tell a lot of upgrades had been made. It was very nice on the inside and it looks like they are repairs being done on the exterior of the building. The only downside was that we had a 6am wake up call every morning from the trash truck emptying the dumpster that was located directly under our bedroom and the first night we were there we were visited by one of the largest cockroaches we had ever seen. Other than that the unit was beautiful and has great access to the beach with a good location to other attractions and amenities.

  Its generally what I have come to expect from a rental...both tub drains were clogged ankle deep water while bathing I fixed that! Kitchen sink cold water turned off scalding hot water from faucet found by my daughter! AC does not cool master BR unless you close the living room vent! luggage carts have broken wheels! beach access needs to be cleaned of mildew and sand water will not drain! other than the finding all that the condo was nice and kitchen was clean with great cooking utensils. Also, guide on cable TV does not work.

  We loved staying at this property because it is quaint enough that you don’t have to fight the large crowds at the other properties. The condo was well maintained, clean, and easily accessible. The view of the Gulf was amazing from the balcony and you were a few steps away from the water. The pool on the property was cleaned every morning by a pool maintenance company. We will definitely consider staying here again on the future, depending on how many are in our group.
  
  Gulf Shores Rental was great to work with and made everything so easy. We utilized the Stay and Play program for 3 of our activities that saved us some extra money, which was nice!
