Island Royale 1105

Island Royale #1105 is an interior gulf-front 2 bedroom 2 bath condominium on the 11th floor overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The unit is approximately 1015 sq ft with views of the gulf from the living room and gulf-side master bedroom. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen with white appliances on granite countertops with a washer and dryer housed in a separate laundry room. There are 2 full baths. The gulf-side master bathroom has a king bed and en suite bathroom with a standalone shower. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed, and access to the hall bath from the bedroom, which has a shower/tub combo. King, Queen, Sofa sleeper. Sleeps 6 people. November 2015 – new 48” smart TV in the living room, October 2016-new smart TV in the master.

Island Royale is a 16-story building with 6 units per floor located 0.8 miles west of Highway 59 in Gulf Shores. Island Royale has a swim-thru pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna, and exercise room. The property also has a grilling/picnic area. and 2 car limit. 25 yr old age limit to rent. Island Royale is a NO SMOKING facility. Smoking is allowed by the bbq area.

  We have been coming to Gulf Shore for the last 4 years. Unfortunately the unit we had been staying at was rented out from under us. We found GSR and Harley found us Island Royale. What a beautiful building. We completely enjoyed our stay and GSR took care of us beyond our expectations. We will be returning!

  My husband and I brought our kids and grandchild and this condo had it all. It was beach accessible. The indoor/outdoor pool was clean and nice size. The condo has the most amazing view of the beach. We saw dolphins every morning. The condo is nice size and very clean. We will definitely be booking again next year

  We always like to stay at this rental. We did encounter a few problems. We let out the couch and it was full of crumbs so I swept it over to the entertainment center and as my broom went under I found about 4o puzzle pieces. The sofa sleeper wasn't comfortable either.

  Wonderful condo, comfortable king-size bed; kitchen very well equipped, immediate response from maintenance regarding a few issues that needed fixing. A selection of books and puzzles were available for our use. The beach was clean, 7 chairs on the balcony, plenty of shaded parking, luggage racks and carts were helpful for unloading and loading. Unit was clean and insect free. We enjoyed watching so many dolphins from our balcony as well as the parasailors . Our enjoyable dining experiences included The Sunliner Cafe, Lauria’s and Surfside Pizza. The only negative was the traffic congestion on Route 59. All things considered, this was a great find.

  Great trip, great view, great location.
  Was told there was designated parking spot but that was not accurate...we have parking passes and there was plenty of general spots so it wasn't an issue. The beds are very firm so if that isn't your preference, you won't like them. Being on the beach and the balcony was amazing. Made any issue with the beds no big deal. Would recommend and would stay there again.

  Nice location all was well except living room furniture. It might be okay for a weekend but for a longer stay with no chairs just doesn’t work. Therefore I will not stay there again.I booked elsewhere. Out side pool was another minus factor. Service from Realtor was excellent.

  This unit had a ton of problems. Sink leaked all over the floor and our things. Hot water doesn’t work in the 2nd bathroom no matter how long you run it. The refrigerator never did get cold even after a week and the door wouldn’t always lock when you needed it to. The rental company did try to fix most issues but it definitely wasn’t worth the price we paid to have all these issues. Will not stay again and wouldn’t recommend renting this unit

    Everything was addressed immediately when this guest called. Once a guest departs, the fridge is opened for quite some time for cleaning by our housekeeping dept so when a new guest arrives and puts food in, it can take time to cool. We actually tested all of these things when the guest departed and everything was in working order except we did fix the sink, which had a bad valve. -Gulf Shores Rentals

  The place was great. Easy check in and check out. Plenty of space. Stocked kitchen for people that don’t really cook on vacation. Great location! Directly on the beach. Balcony was a great size. Didn’t really wait on elevators. We were on the 11th floor, so didn’t hear any noise. Parking was fine. I didn’t use the pool, too many kids. I would stay here again for sure.
