Ocean House 2901

Ocean House #2901 is an east corner gulf-front 3 bedroom 3 bath condominium located on the 9th floor in building II overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The unit is approximately 1300 sq ft with views of the gulf from the 3rd bedroom and living area. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen with a washer and dryer. There are 3 full baths with either a tub/shower combo or a stand-alone shower. The street-side master has an en suite bathroom with a king bed and the middle bedroom with 2 double beds has an attached bathroom with a stand-up shower. The gulf-side bedroom has a queen bed with a bathroom that is also accessed via the living/hall area.

Ocean House I and II are 9-story buildings with 6 units per floor located 1 mile West of Highway 59 in Gulf Shores. Ocean House has a large seasonal zero-entry outdoor and small kiddie pool. The property also has a grilling area that services buildings I and II. Minimum age required: 23. King, Queen, Double, Double, Sofa sleeper. Sleeps 10.

Parking passes are purchased on-site at Ocean House at the guard house or office in building I - CASH ONLY. There is a maximum of 2 parking passes per unit and the cost is set by the association and is subject to change at any time without notice.

  The rental was in good condition! It was very clean and lots of room! Great view! The couch and chair in the living room were run down, but that is to be expected. Close to everything!

  From booking to getting to the condo was a breeze. We will definitely use Gulf Shores rentals again. The condo was very spacious and comfortable. We used the balcony a lot, the view was great. Being right on the beach was amazing! The only downside I found was that people from across the road came over to the beach at night after quiet time, around midnight and were being pretty loud. We had a hard time sleeping a couple of nights. Other than that it was a good time.

  Would not go back - very outdated. Too expensive for run down condo. Elevated too small and too slow. No carts available for carrying up suitcases, etc from.

  Loved the property! Elevators were fast. It wasn’t a long walk from the pool to the beach so we could go back and forth easily.
  
  I wished they had a fence around the baby pool because my grandson would get out and run toward the big pool.
  
  The condo needs more bowls and pots and pans! The blender did not work! The furniture wasn’t real comfortable and only accommodated six people. The kitchen table only sets four people and then there’s two bar stools . We had ten people which is what it says it accommodates. But we made due and would probably use the place again!

  Rental was clean, except for sand all over the sheets In beachside BR. Street side MBR bed was ok. All other beds were extremely uncomfortable. The kitchen had very minimal everything. Blender & toaster did not work. We love Ocean House and would stay in this unit again, but it would definitely NOT be my first choice.

  There was a dead rat problem. The entrance lobby had the most disgusting smell from the dead rats. Every day it got worse. This was unacceptable. The condo was spacious and the view from the balcony was great. The kitchen table was missing a chair. The living room furniture needs updating. The whole condo needs a fresh paint job.

  We loved the location of this building overlooking the gulf. The unit was clean and inviting. The toaster didn't work and the queen size mattress in the room nearest the balcony was rather poor in that it sagged in the middle. As we were leaving I reported these two "complaints" and was assured they would be addressed.....The pool was very nice, the location excellent, security did its job, all of which made it difficult to leave. This was out third stay at Ocean House, and I look forward to coming again...

  The condo was great. We were disappointed that the master bedroom wasn’t facing the beach rather than facing the road even tho there was water in that side as well. It just wasn’t the same. Maybe switch the beds (make the king bed in the room with the beach view ??? Complaint- elevator sucked - wouldn’t work properly most of the time. Also looked to have a leak in LR ceiling

  Overall we had a good stay in the condo it was comfortable and spacious. However, the weather did not corporate. We stayed indoors and cooked for a couple of nights.
  The pots and pans need to be replaced.
  Some of the tiles on the floor had cracks.
  Screens need replacing.
  Condo decorated nicely.

  Great location on the beach. Nice pool. Disappointed that Our unit was outdated and not clean. The balcony furniture was horrible. Very worn sofa! One toilet did not work properly. I called the office and they said Maint would contact me. Maint. called and said he would be there at 9:00 am the next morning. He Never showed up or called! The hall ways, elevators and lobby were Nasty! We will not return to this building.
