Westwind 702

Westwind #702 is an interior gulf-front 1 bedroom 1 bath major remodeled condominium located on the 7th floor overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The unit is approximately 700 sq ft with views of the gulf from the living room. The condo has hall way bunks and a fully equipped custom kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances all set in granite counter-tops with washer and dryer. There is one full bath with a custom-tiled stand alone shower. The master bedroom is located on the north side of condo. Sleeps 6

Westwind is a 9 story building with 4 units per floor located 1 mile West of Highway 59 in Gulf Shores. Westwind has an outdoor pool and grilling area.

Review: Lovely condo on the beach! Condo was all newly renovated, fresh, clean from top to bottom. Really enjoyed the balcony and close proximity to the beach. Easy breezy!

Review: The unit was very nice. Couldn't have asked for better furnishings and décor. Clean and the check in and out was smooth thanks to owner and Gulf Shores Rentals. Michael and Donna at the local agency were as nice and professional as expected. Would definitely stay there again as the furnishings, appliances, and kitchen wares were great. Loved it... And before I forget it, the walk in shower was tops. 5 star

Review: 5 star. We were so thankful to find this condo on such short notice! It is beautifully updated and close enough to Gulf shores pwky for restaurants etc. The beach was a close walk from the building itself which was very helpful when toting things to and from the beach! The kitchen was perfectly equipped with everything needed and loved having a vacuum available to clean up after a sandy day! We look forward to staying here again!

  We were very pleased with our stay at The Westwind. It was a very quiet condo with a wonderful view of the beach. Nicely decorated. We had a great stay.

  We spent 7 weeks in this unit.
  furniture was acceptable, but could be more comfortable.
  great location for access to beach, restaurants, shopping.
  We will never stay in this building again...once a week, the elevator broke down.
  couple days before we left, as we were going down and approaching 2nd floor, the elevator "free fell". Then stopped with a huge jolt to us and a loud bang. Then there was nothing for 10 seconds(where we thought we were stuck), and then it slowly drifted to first floor and door opened after a few seconds. We were traumatized!!
  we called it in to office. The next morning I called the office to see what repair was involved. The lady who was "supposed to know", never called us back.
  And 2 tenants told us the elevator was down for the whole month of December for repair.
