Westwind Penthouse 901 is located on the 9th floor with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths with a private balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The condo has been recently remodeled with an open concept design, a gourmet kitchen with new appliances and the master bedroom has an updated en suite bathroom with double vanity and tub/shower combo. New beds as of January 2023---King, Queen, Queen, Queen, Sofa sleeper. Sleeps 10. The kitchen has a huge gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances all set in granite countertops.

Westwind Condominiums is located in the heart of Gulf Shores. Just 1.3 miles to the infamous Hangout at the corner of Hwy 59 and Beach Road. Westwind is a 9-story building with 4 units per floor (2nd-8th) located 1 mile West of Highway 59 in Gulf Shores. Westwind has an outdoor pool and grilling area.   Overall satisfied with this condo. For some reason the a/c would twice a day turn itself down to 75 with us there. We just had to keep an eye on the thermostat. Love the location. The couch needs to be replaced. Other than the minor things I listed, overall a great rental. I would definitely use this condo again.

  Nice condo with great views to the gulf and great location. Ice maker was a real plus. Beds advertised as new, but not so. Parking is a challenge. Pool seating is insufficient for a 30 unit building.

  The condo had a lot of space and good location but the cockroaches were a major problem for us. We filed complaints with management right away but it was 4 days later when they came to treat the building. There were also 4 light bulbs out throughout the condo and we requested replacement 3 times before they addressed the issue. Then, they only replaced 1 of the 4. It was otherwise a pleasant vacation. The parking attendant was a little extreme but otherwise we probably would not have had a place to park on the property. I would not stay here again due to the cockroach issue, especially when we paid over $5,500 for the week. For that amount of money, you should at least get 2 chairs and an umbrella for the week. Something management should consider.

  The condo layout was great. We loved all the space. However it seemed a little neglected and dirty. Cockroaches were spotted which was disgusting. It needed a deep cleaning and some repairs. The master bed desperately needs a new mattress and the shower curtain and liner needs replaced. The couch also needs to be replaced.

  Our sheets were stained in two rooms, bed broken in in one room, and bed spread stained up in master with king. The dishes were dirty in the cabinets. Dust everywhere. Dirty towels on top of the washer that we had to wash. It really just needs a good cleaning and new sheets.
